When I Am Blind To All I See

When I am blind to all I see
And go no more the ways I've gone
What will be left of what is me
When these, my days and nights, are done?

Though all I am in heart and brain
Become a thing that never was,
Dead bone and flesh will lift again
Life's wordless glory in the grass.
