Winter Apples

As winter apples stored in binsA fragrant heat keep onAnd sweeten in their wrinkled skinsThough suns of seasons gone,

The loves I stole from summer's treeAnd plucked before their primeIn winter bins of memoryGrow sweeter all the time.
